Huntsville Utilities
In February 2016, Huntsville Utilities (HU), announced the launch of Huntsville Utilities’ Fiber Transport Network, an industry-shaping strategy to accelerate the deployment of ultra-high speed Internet service throughout the service territory of the utility. Google Fiber announced they would be the network’s Anchor Tenant, leasing fiber and providing residential and business Gigabit services throughout Huntsville.
Rancho Mission Viejo
Rancho Mission Viejo is a master-planned community in South Orange County, California, blending modern living with historical and natural elements. Spanning approximately 23,000 acres, it encompasses residential villages, working ranch lands, and The Nature Reserve—a protected habitat of nearly 17,000 acres. With a focus on modern infrastructure, Rancho Mission Viejo caters to remote workers and tech-savvy residents.
Colorado Springs Utilities
Colorado Springs Utilities is the latest and largest city-owned utility to implement The Broadband Group’s Utility Lease Model™. The citywide fiber network will enhance customer service capabilities and serve as a foundation for future grid modernization and operational needs. At the same time, spare fiber capacity will enable high-speed Internet access across every corner of Colorado Springs. Once complete, the network will pass more than 200,000 addresses, bringing modern fiber infrastructure to all of Colorado Springs Utilities’ residential and business customers.
Coyote Springs
Coyote Springs is a master-planned community site about 40 miles north of Las Vegas along U.S. 93, entitled for roughly 159,000 residential units across 40-plus thousand acres. It is envisioned as one of the largest greenfield communities in the West.Critical for the development vision, every home was designed to be served by an all-fiber network infrastructure for high-performance residential and business connectivity and other advanced broadband enabled services.
