Alex Hilgeman, The Broadband Group’s Senior Director of Public Private Partnerships, provides expertise on broadband P3 practices. With a background spanning engineering, finance and project management, Ms. Hilgeman leads strategic business and broadband infrastructure planning efforts across TBG’s nationwide industry-leading initiatives. 

She brings ten years of leadership in managing complex infrastructure procurements and public sector financings with a specialty in project ‘firsts’. Prior to joining The Broadband Group, Ms. Hilgeman was a consultant at Accenture, a global consulting firm, where she advised and supported leaders across infrastructure sectors. She has served as a trusted municipal advisor on over $75 billion in infrastructure and general capital programs across North America.

Ms. Hilgeman earned her B.A. from Dartmouth College in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Engineering. She also holds an M. Sci. from the University of Pennsylvania in Applied Geosciences, with a concentration in Engineering Geology. This educational foundation has equipped her with a deep understanding of the technical aspects underlying infrastructure projects, enhancing her ability to deliver innovative solutions.
