Frank Newsom, The Broadband Group’s Senior Vice President of Network Operations, brings over 30 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. His expertise lies on managing and executing the deployment of advanced communications infrastructure for TBG’s utility, cooperative, developer, and municipal clients.

With an extensive history of working in Huntsville, Alabama, since 1993, Mr. Newsom oversaw the successful construction of Huntsville Utilities’ 1,000-mile fiber network expansion project. Under the TBG-developed ‘Utility Lease Model’, Google Fiber serves as the fiber network’s Anchor Tenant delivering multi-gigabit connectivity across the city.

Mr. Newsom’s extensive background includes managing large-scale aerial and underground broadband network construction projects, with hands-on expertise in efficiently deploying fiber networks across diverse terrains.
