Financial Due Diligence
The Broadband Group works to strengthen the negotiating positions of our clients as they investigate potential partnership structures with both Incumbent and non-Incumbent Service Providers. We provide expertise for exploring the financial considerations of various strategies through the development of dynamic investment grade Financial Models and financial sustainability analysis.
We provide application coordination, grant writing, business plan development, and legislative advocacy services supporting Broadband Service and Utility Electric Power providers, as well as education and health facilities seeking federal appropriations. Deliverables include defining program methodology, development of business strategies, policy formation, issue advocacy, federal marketing, and the actual drafting and submission of state and federal grants. We work closely with clients to develop unique ideas, identify qualifying community programs that anchor a broadband investment, and craft a compelling story to ensure the application stands out from those simply submitted without fully comprehending the review and award process.
As utilities require increased investment in fiber networks to support internal operational and grid management requirements, a new model “The Utility Smart Grid Model” has emerged that allows utilities to transform a traditional cost into a revenue generating asset that also supports the overall wellbeing of the communities they serve.
